He burns down the houses they live in and the stores they work in, he kills people that owe them money. And like that he was gone. Underground. No one has ever seen him again. He becomes a myth, a spook story that criminals tell their kids at night. If you rat on your pop, Keyser Sate will get you. And nobody really ever believes.

snow is here

its been quite cold the last week or so anywaz but winter and snow truley arrived tonight! its a little early to be so bad, no? at about 23h45 earlier there was amost half a centimetre of snow on the ground and growing slowly. cars were starting to pile up at the bottom of my street. some sliding down into others and others not being able to drive up, they forgot chains or possibly even winter tyres! its that really fine (dangerous?) type of snow that realy gets blown about the place by the wind which is quite striong from the north west. and whats going on in donegal, maybe i should bring me and my skiis there!

Met Éireann has issued a severe weather warning predicting heavy snowfalls in the northwest of the country between midday tomorrow and midnight on Friday.Blizzard conditions and snowdrifts are likely in counties Donegal, Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim and Cavan.Strong to gale force northerly winds will also occur, giving blizzard conditions at times and causing some snowdrifts.

online sharing

since i dsicovered the guys at flock i have really taken to the online sharing of your dis/likes, experiences etc. and can really see the potential for a seismic change in the way people are going to use the web as mentioned in the bbc article i mentioned before!

a few weeks back i came across last.fm. for me this was the real introduction to the online comunity spirit thing. music is important to me and being able to share with others, see what they are listening to and getting ideas helps broaden the depth of information out there.

its a pity i can’t remember who it was that put me onto that site as they deserve a big thank you

I don’t like the English. One at a time, I don’t mind them. I’ve loved some of them. It’s their collective persona I can’t warm to: the lumpen and louty, coarse, unsubtle, beady-eyed, beefy-bummed herd of England.

i saw this in the print version on sunday and it made me smile. its a bit of a diatribe against the english/england but he does’nt really get into the whole british-ness of his situation. interesting writing but bassically a rant!
